Maybe it's more popular the film that lately has been released and
starred by Brad Pitt, but here in the blog we will talk about the
book, that was written before the film (1922). In fact, more than a
book, we could say that it is a tale because it only has 10 pages.
It's a very short story about a man that was born old and grows up on
the opposite way of the others. So, he doesn't get on with the other
people as when he is old, the others that are his same age are
babies, and when he is about to die he is a baby,while the other are
old.
The writer is F. Scott Fitzgerald (1896 – 1940) that was an
American author of a lot of novels and short tales for all ages. His
gold age was in the 20's, fantastic years after the First World War
when the United Estates was living a good economic and cultural
moment. He was even in a literary movement of the United States
called the Lost Generation.
